MEET THE COACH
Larry H. Gassin, CPA is co-founder of Advanced Coaching Solutions and is the founder and Head Coach of The Executive Business Gym. Larry is a professional business, executive and leadership coach with over 25 years of experience, as well as an author and speaker. He has utilized his extensive business and coaching experience to assist corporations, partnerships and individuals in strategic planning, increasing revenue flows, development of team and project management, guidance in pre-IPO planning, executive development, team building, and other complex business and communication related issues. Over the past decade, he has also developed expertise in personal, relationship and retirement life coaching.
As a certified public accountant, he was founder and principal of Larry H. Gassin & Associates, accountants and consultants. Extensive experience at "Big 4", national and local firms provided tremendous "hands-on" expertise working with executives and management team members of some of the largest companies and professional firms in the world as well as with highly creative entrepreneurs. While at the then largest of the "Big 4" firms, he was selected as one of eleven firm members nationally to develop a special litigation consulting practice and was integrally involved in a variety of major historic litigation matters including U.S. v. IBM and U.S. v. ABC, CBS. He has also served as an expert witness in business litigations. While head of his own firm, he successfully competed on numerous occasions against Big 4 and large regional and local firms for new clients, including a high-tech subsidiary of DuPont Corporation and some technology innovation enterprises, winning the clients.
Subsequent to forming his own business accounting, management and consulting firm, much of his work evolved into coaching clients through a variety of challenging business processes and decisions. Simultaneously he became involved in coaching owners and executives relative to matters that affected their job performance and satisfaction.
He also has in-depth entrepreneurial experience as the President and CEO of Aenertec America, an energy systems technologies company he founded in 1990 that has done business with resorts, major hotels, restaurants, major shopping malls, hospitals, apartment complexes, manufacturing facilities and homeowners across the nation. Specific clients have included Marriott, Embassy Suites and Doubletree hotels, South Coast Plaza shopping mall, Texaco/Shell, and Citadel National Management Company, among others.
